The thick features and strong plasticity of oil paints is unmatched to other kinds of paintings, which makes oil paintings can produce the rhythm and intensity that are followed by people’s thinking and feeling. Under the use of the brush, Plasticity is not only the the task of completing the shape, but also produces a direct effect to the texture of picture. Rembran, Rubens are the artists who are good at controling the texture, because texture directly convey psychological feelings of the artists and affects the infection intensity of their works. The reasonable performance of the so-called texture includes not only the imitation and reproduction of texture to the visible feelings of objects, but also the description and performance of picture’s overall mood. In the traditional realistic painting, the texture is very good at the task of reflecting to the visible feelings of objects. The fine and coarse visible feeling of objects can be imitated by using relevant textures,but it is always negative action. While the real so-called texture is the high-level harmonious texture that can express the rhythm of picture and emotion of artist. This texture often sends the spirit of artists to entire picture and make the viewer’s heart beyond the limitations of visible feeling ,so that this tecture becomes a layer color that is out of the concrete objects. In this sense, Texture is abstract. However, in traditional oil painting, The texture is also followed by the realistic objects and is incorperated with the overall atomosphere from small to big.
